Silent personal reflection; prayer w 2-3 others; Q&A with teacher; sharing experiences of practicing the previous week’s teaching

Q: What about all the singing we love to do?

A: We will have the same length of singing at opening plus song of response to close

Q: What about people who aren’t comfortable sharing with others during worship?

A: Participants are welcome to sit with their discipleship group or family and friends.

Q: What about kids?

A: After singing time, children 10 and under will be cared for by hired Young Adults

Q: Why this format now?

A:  “Develop missiological muscle”  To move forward now toward the future we want to have.

Many young adults and families long to be in closer community.

Most church members also want to support and encourage each other in following Jesus and learn better how to love our neighbors.

Everyone in the church wants the church to grow.

Q: How would this be the same as our regular Sunday worship service?

A: Greeting & benedictions; musical worship; biblical teaching; prayers;

intergenerational community; times of silent reflections

Q: How is this different from our regular Sunday worship service?

A: We share a simple meal together every week.

Adults & youth of all ages interact and learn together in  the same room.

Interactive teaching includes Q&A, sharing experiences, personal reflection, prayer pairs

No livestream or post-worship coffee.

Q: Can kids and adults learn together?

A: Breakout group format allows people to talk with those with whom they feel comfortable.  Some youth will want to be with older people.  Most will enjoy encouraging each other. Teaching and discussion content will be simple enough for children to understand yet adults to go deeper. Children 10 and under with 2 Young Adults.

There will be slightly adapted questions for youth 11+ and they’ll  be led by pastor.

Q: Who will organize the potluck?

A; The community will feed the community. Whether homemade or takeout food, participants will bring food to share as a potluck meal .

We’ll continue current coffee pre worship set-up & post worship clean-up teams.
